Stargate Atlantis/SG-1: John Sheppard/Rodney McKay/Sam Carter.
This makes two het!threesome recs in one day which is weird for me because normally I am not all about the threesomes. But this is so much more than that. Warm and layered, and told from Sam’s point of view, I love that she really gets John and Rodney and genuinely cares about them. I also love that John is so hesitant about it all, because for serious, the only way this could ever go down would have to be like that. And this is as much a John/Rodney story as anything else, which was a lovely surprise.

Supernatural/Veronica Mars: gen, Dean and Logan centric.
This is just a short vignette without much plot to speak of but it’s just to cool. Logan and Dean, while not the first combination of characters that come to mind when imagining Supernatural crossovers, play off each other in some really interesting ways. This whole story is just delightfully inventive. And it all takes place at the Fitzpatrick bar, The River Stix, which is so wonderfully Dean to have picked that bar when he goes to Neptune.
In Harm’s Way
Supernatural/The O.C.: Dean, Seth/Ryan, Sam, little bit of Sam/Jess.
I am such a sucker for crossovers and this one is awesome. Seth Cohen is Sam’s Stanford roommate and it just goes from there. I love this a lot.

Supernatural/Hellblazer (comics version): Dean/John Constantine.
This is a really cool crossover. Set just before the tv series starts, it’s Dean on a job in New Orleans without his dad and in deeper over his head than he’d ever have known. I really like this story because the crossover potential between two canon universes like these is so strong but also because John Constantine is in a whole different league than the Winchester boys never even knew existed. Constantine goes up against the fucking devil himself and lives to fight more demons another day, and that is so much bigger than Dean’s rock salt shotgun and gritty bravado have ever faced.

Stargate Atlantis/Stargate SG-1 crossover: Sheppard/McKay, implied Rodney/Jonas history.
I pretty much always love Lilly’s writing and this is no exception. Fabulous characterization, her possessive John is totally, totally hot. Plus, I’m a total sucker for SGA writers who bring the SG-1 history to their stories. Seriously people, there’s 8 whole years of stargate exploration just waiting to be hinted at in your stories!

Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Oh god. Best. Crossover. Ever. And it deals with a lot of the issues left over from The Seige I II and III. The John/Rondey dynamic in this is really good and the story is fantastically fun throughout.

Stargate Atlantis: Jack O’Neill, John Sheppard.
This is one of those stories that really helps solidify the characters in your mind. Basically, it’s Jack’s take on John after their post-Seige III return.

Stargate Atlantis/Stargate SG-1: John Sheppard/Cameron Mitchell.
Frostfire’s characterization is always, always amazing. It’s like she lives in Sheppard’s head. This is the perfect crossover. It’s set in Afghanistan pre-Atlantis (pre-SGC for Cam.) Seriously, read this even if you don’t like seeing Shep with anyone else or if you don’t know who Cameron is. It’s a fantastic read. John is brutally realistic and the Afghanistan backstory is just how I think it should be.

Harry Potter/Queer As Folk: Harry/Severus
Hmmm, okay this story is like, incredibly long, and it’s a crossover with, wait for it, Queer as Folk US. It drags at times, could probably have used some good editing, but overall it’s really a good story. I especially like Lamardeuse’s use of magic in the story.

Harry Potter/Alias: Harry Potter/Julian Sark
Awww yeah. The coolest, most underused character in Alias history in the HP universe. Hackthis most definitely owns me.

Harry Potter/Popslash: Bill Weasley/JC Chasez.
If the idea of a popslash/harry potter crossover doesn’t grab you, maybe the really good writing and the completely adorable JC will make you more sympathetic. I really love this story. The writing is, as I mentioned, excellent and really funny as well. JC goes on vacation to Egypt and sees a lot more than he’d planned:
A human that JC hadn’t previously noticed spun toward him quickly, obviously startled, the thin piece of wood in his right hand shooting sparks. He muttered several words in quick succession that JC didn’t understand. He was dirt-smudged, decked out in comfortable excavation type clothes, with red hair pulled back into a messy ponytail and an earring that was hot enough to make JC rethink his utter terror of needles. JC held out a hand. “JC Chasez. You an archeology team, or something?”
The human transferred the stick into his sleeve and reached out to shake JC’s hand. “Bill Weasley. Or something.”

Harry Potter/Constantine crossover: John/Harry
I’m a sucker for crossovers, especially when they’re done right. And this one is definitely done right.
