Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
It’s got to be a law of the universe that Chelle gives great porn. This story just continues to prove the rule. Really, really hot first time fic. Fantastic build-up.

Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
This is fabulous, lengthy enough to do this type of story justice. A very good take on the aliens make them do it genre, serious and hot and gorgeously played out.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
BDSM, knifeplay, kink. Gorgeous and intense, it’s hard for me to picture John and Rodney getting into heavier kink but Neery nailed this in a way that made me buy it completely.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Sequel to Ami’s Close Encounters. Rodney has to fight for John’s honor and it’s just — fabulous in all of the ways that I’ve come to expect from Jenn.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay/Atlantis.
This is a short, but hot story revolving around the control chair and Sheppard’s unusually strong ATA gene.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
This is a really sweet story that just verges on being a little too sappy and hits a good balance instead. John has an unrequited crush on Rodney.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
This is a short, lovely look at Rodney’s neuroses and the evolution of his relationship with John.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
This is not a fluffy story. It is, though, an intense, viscerally real, hopeful, and good story. Synecdochic’s John is not pretty. She takes all of his insincerity and all of his carefully built walls and tears them down piece by brutal gorgeous fascinating piece. I love that with as many writers and as many stories as SGA has there are still so many perspectives that haven’t been explored and so many possibilities that haven’t come to life yet. This story is exactly that for me. It’s original and interesting and completely unique. I love a story that says something fundamental about it’s characters and that builds on canon in such a way that it becomes it’s own canon to the readers, and I think this story does that extremely well.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Heh. The title really says it all. This is funny and irreverent and hot.
What to Say to Rodney When He’s Naked; Or, How Aliens Made Them (Almost) Do It
Stargate Atlantis: gen with some Sheppard/McKay in it.
I love AU’s and this is a really cool one. The Atlantis team as workers in the book publishing world and Ronan as the new hire. Everyone is perfectly themselves and there are so many lovely tongue-in-cheek Stargate Atlantis references. I really love this story.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Oh god, this is a perfect, perfect take on the fairy-tale idea. It’s an AU, obviously, but it’s still one in which the SGC exists. It’s really very cool.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
I have a thing for back-on-earth stories and for slow-building first time stories. This is both of those and it’s great.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
This is a gorgeously written story set during season 2, mostly involving the events of Trinity through Grace Under Pressure. I love the style of the story and the complexities of John and Rodney’s relationship.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
This is a neat fill-in-the-blanks story for the events leading up to The Seige and the Atlantis teams’ hunt for the 5 zpms. There’s a lot of really intuitive and interesting characterization. And some really intense sex, too.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Written by a newcomer to the fandom, this story totally blew me away. It’s a gorgeous back-on-earth story that’s at times both painful and poignant. The voices are spot on.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Billed as Pru’s answer to the romantic comedy genre this is a hilariously funny and gloriously heart-wrenching au where Rodney is a college professor and John is a sometimes stripper and Rodney’s physics TA. Pru has a definte knack for comedy and throwing the boys into unbelievable situations. Her characters are both sympathetic and larger than life and I love this story a lot. It’s long and detailed and really, it’d be hard not to fall in love with a John that draws F-14s on student’s papers when he’s happy with their work or with a Rodney whose greatest nemesis is a fellow professor who hates String Theory.
Bell Curve or Ladies Night at the Boom Boom Room
And the sequel–of sorts–to Bell Curve. You’ll definitely want to read this once you’re done with Bell Curve:
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Told from Rodney’s perspective, I love that he fantasized about John, and I love that even those fantasies were a little neurotic. Great Rodney voice.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Guh. Hand-porn. John discovers Rodney’s kink and it’s just – guh. Very hot.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
SGA fandom doesn’t have nearly enough quantum mirror fanfic. This story is helping to set that balance right. It’s brilliant and sort of painful to see how different the Sheppards are in the story when the John and Rodney we know stumble into an alternate universe where Sumner lives. A very, very cool what if story and a good take on a fandom that’s been as prolific as SGA has been.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
This is a really funny story. It’s totaly crack fic but it’s really fantastic, there’s fuzzy alien pets and misunderstandings and just, yes to everything.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
This is everything I could ever ask for in a story. Long, brilliantly paced, wonderfully characterized, and lovingly complex. It’s about what happens in Atlantis after Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is revoked. Seriously, this is the story I’ve been waiting to read.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Ami is easily one of my favorite authors in the fandom. Her stories are always fun and porny and long. This one is no exeption to that rule and it’s really, really good. A fabulous twist on the aliens-make-them-do-it cliché.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Lacey’s good at first time fics, this is a post-Grace Under Pressure story that deals with Rodney’s hallucinations in a slightly different manner than you might expect.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Lacey is one of those guaranteed to be good authors that I have a lot of affection for. She’s been writing a lot of like, pg-13 stories in the SGA fandom though, and as much as I love them, well, I tend to like the pornier ones more. Negotiations is, I believe, her first nc-17 story in the sga fandom and it’s fun and long enough to satisfy and hot throughout.
Stargate Atlantis: gen with hints of Sheppard/McKay.
There’s something really hot about John Sheppard’s brutal competence. This story goes into what we saw of Sheppard during The Storm/The Eye in terms of exactly how far he will go to save his people, how ruthless he can be, and how good he is at doing it.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
This is a really awesome AU and I don’t want to say too much about the story except that it’s long and it’s good and it’s terribly fun and I am so glad that Cesperanza actually went there (which you’ll get once you read it).
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Lamardeuse is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors of the fandom. This is an astonishingly well done depression era AU in which Rodney is an aeronautical engineer and John is a test pilot and all roads lead to Atlantis in that way that I just love. Also, this is satisfyingly long, about 38,000 words.
Stargate Atlantis: Sheppard/McKay
Rodney gives John the entire Star Trek series on dvd, it must be love. I really like a lot of the ideas in this story, like the exploration of the Atlantis black market, and what kinds of goods would be used as presents. Nice details and long too.
