The OC: Seth/Ryan
This is, perhaps, the story I’ve been waiting for from Zarah. The writing is, as always, deceptively sparse. This girl knows how to pack a punch with every single line she writes. But this story is significantly longer than most of her other work, which pleased me to no end. Another thing I love about her stories: she’s a thorough writer, Z doesn’t ever write a story without completely involving herself in the tiny details of a culture and I got a lot of personal thrills from reading this one not onlly because it’s set on my home turf, the bay area, but also because it was written by someone with a whole lot of love for the place.
